Rubber Band Dummies
So, we have this method for eating soft tacos in our house. Abby can't keep hers together, so we put a rubber band 2/3s of the way down it, and then when she eats to there we take it off and she finishes. Except, tonight, Abby must have been really hungry. Because all of a sudden her taco was almost gone and neither of us had taken the rubber band off.
Long story short, rubber bands are non toxic and will pass right through a child. The poison center guy was very nice, until he asked what happened. Then he could barely talk he was laughing so hard. Only in our house....

Lily's first birthday!
Jaime slipped in the bathroom and ripped her leg open, requiring internal and external stitches. Here's a picture of it, once it was stitched up and you could no longer see the bone:
Funny picture of Lily. She's finally getting her other second tooth, and we got her a haircut, but she looks a little, ummm, neglected here:
Sara nicknamed Lily "Hill-Lily" because of her missing front tooth, dirty face, etc.
Emily's second grade history program. She did AWESOME! She doesn't have a shy bone in her body, and it certainly shows when she is on stage:
I stayed a few days at my cousin Jaime's, and we went on a walk. Lily fell asleep in the wrap I was wearing. Awww....

Well, it sounded like a good idea! I might try the rubber band on Ruthie's tacos. Do they make an organic rubber band?
Cute kids! -Even Hill Lily, she's got character.
ha ha ha...you never told me the story about abby eating that rubber band. it may be my new favorite! see you tomorrow!!
